Verulam Lottery
An easy way to raise funds AND win prizes!
Would you like to support the school but just do not have the time to get involved in PTA events? Then, why not join the Verulam Lottery: Verulam School PTA’s very own lottery. As a Verulam Lottery member, you will not only be helping to raise vital funds for specific projects at the school, but will also have the chance to win money for yourself from draws which will be held at least twice a term.

What happens next:
- As soon as you have been registered onto the Verulam Lottery system, you will be allocated your own “lucky numbers”, one number for each £5 you have spent. Each lucky number will take part in all draws over the next 12 months.
- Live draws take place at school towards the end of each half term.
- Letters and cheques are sent out to the lucky winners within 14 days of the draw.
- Details of the prizes and prize winners will be published in the weekly PTA Bulletin, as will details of where the money is being spent and how this is making an important difference for the school.
50% of the money goes into the prize draw, and 50% is donated to the school, so the greater the number of participants, the greater the amount of money in the pot!
OUR TARGET is to make the Verulam Lottery the PTA’s major source of income. If every family at the school paid just the minimum £5/month subscription, this would raise a fantastic £60,000 each year, i.e. £30,000 for the school and £30,000 in prize money.
