Safeguarding
Are you feeling unsafe in any way? Or perhaps you are worried about someone else? First steps are to speak to an adult you feel comfortable talking to and you can trust. Below are members of staff that are here to help you and are responsible for your wellbeing at school.
No matter how big or small the problem is, you can always speak to one of the team about anything that might be worrying you at any time.
Safeguarding our students
Verulam School is committed to the safety and protection of all our pupils. Our Deputy Headteacher, Mrs Thackray, is our Lead Designated Safeguarding Lead (DSL) and our Deputy Designated Safeguarding Lead (Deputy DSL) are Mr Moane, Miss Perry and Mr Holding.

The SHARP System
SHARP  allows young people to report any incidents which occur within the school and local community anonymously and without fear. Aside from the reporting tool SHARP delivers educational content to raise awareness on a wide range of subjects including: Bullying, Health, Community Issues, Weapons and Hate Crime.
