Our Year 8 students had an inspiring day of STEM on Wednesday for CED led by Transport for London engineers, project managers and finance professionals. Our students enjoyed understanding how bridges and tunnels are built and how expensive they are too! The day concluded with the boys costing, designing and building river crossings. We saw superb working cable cars, stable and secure bridges and well engineered tunnels. Thank you to Brent Leyshon and his TfL team and to our dedicated STEM teachers for all their enthusiasm and hard work in making such a successful day for our year 8 students.
