Drama Club
The Drama Club is offered after school, during these sessions students will be able to learn different drama activities, games and explore their acting skills. Students who attend will have the opportunity to learn specialised skills, such as improvisation, stage combat and design (costume, lighting and set).
Note: Drama Club will not run during rehearsal periods for other school shows. Although students who attend drama club will be encouraged to participate in these school productions.
Shows
The Christmas Production is a Year 7 Pantomime. Students will explore the skills during lessons in class however students will be required to audition for roles in this performance and attend rehearsals in the weeks leading up to the performance. Students are also encouraged to participate in a ‘Backstage’ capacity if they do not wish to be on stage but still take part.
The Summer Show is a whole school production, open to students from year 7 to 13, on an audition basis. Students are encouraged to research the chosen play and prepare their audition. Students are also encouraged to participate in a ‘Backstage’ capacity if they do not wish to be on stage but still take part.
Information on the Summer Show will be sent out later in the academic year.
