GCSE Results Day – 22nd August 2024
On Results Day, Verulam School will be open from 9.00am.
Results can be collected in person or by a nominated person in the main Hall. Results will be published on MCAS around lunchtime. If you wish results to be collected by someone who is not the student, then the student (not the parent) needs to send an email to admin@verulam.aetrust.uk by the end of term (19th July), confirming who that person will be. That nominated person needs to bring in photo ID on the day. Without this email and ID, results will not be handed to anyone but the student. Results will not be shared via email or telephone.
For internal year 11 students who have applied to Verulam Sixth Form, please be advised that
a) should the student not meet the entry criteria to study his chosen subjects in Sixth Form, there will be a sticker on the envelope to go and see a member of Sixth form staff on results day to see what the options are
b) a confirmation of place letter will be in the envelope which needs to be returned to Sixth Form by Friday 23rd August lunchtime.
External year 11 students who have applied to Verulam Sixth Form, need to come to the Sixth Form office on results day with their GCSE results and to collect their course confirmation sheet which students will need to sign and return to us by lunchtime 23rd August in order to secure their place.
Should your results not be in line with entry requirements for the courses you have chosen, a member of staff will be available in the 6th form block to give you support and guidance.
First day of school will be 3rd September – exact timings will be published on our website.
