Activity Week 14th – 19th July – Years 7-9

We are getting excited about our plans for Activity Week. In a change from timetabled lessons, the activities have been carefully planned to encourage team building and give students the chance to develop new skills and interact with their peers in fun environments. A taster of what’s on offer is below.

Bushcraft

We are planning a range of bushcraft activities at Cuffley Camp. Although we’ll be day visitors only, this video helps bring to life some of the amazing facilities and activities on offer.

Water sports

The water sports day will take place at ESSA Water Activities Centre in Waltham Abbey, where students take part in a selection of different activities, including rafting and paddle boarding.

House sports

We will have a fun filled day of house sports at Sandpit Lane, with a social BBQ organised for lunch.

Verulympics

The week will culminate in our annual Verulympic events and competition.

The event will run from Wednesday 14^th July until Monday 19^th July.

Parents are asked to please complete the consent form and make the deposit payment via ParentMail by Monday 26^th April.

Veterinary BAME (Black, Asian and Minority Ethnic) scholarship scheme for Veterinary Studies

NHS E-Placements

For students aged 14 and above, the NHS Talent Academy have launched bespoke e-placements covering various career opportunities within health and care.

The E-Placements will provide you with an insight into your chosen career path through a series of videos, tutorials, quizzes and virtual tours. It will also help to develop a greater understanding of knowledge, skills and behaviours required for your chosen profession.
