Mr Pettit and the student Digital Champions have recently delivered an assembly to all students on the use of Artificial Intelligence tools in school and for learning.

Whilst there are many positives (deeper research, personal tutor, instant feedback and suggestions to improve), there is a risk that critical thinking, problem solving, creativity and basic knowledge acquisition could be negatively impacted by the inappropriate use of AI. Not to mention that using AI in public exams is forbidden and in most non-examined assessment (coursework) without referencing.

Below are two guides that were made available to students, the poster from the Joint Council for Qualifications and the Verulam suggestions on effective use using the Five S's and the EVERY model.
