Coats, sweatshirts and hoodies

We prefer coats to be of a dark colour – black, navy or grey and should only be worn over the blazer. Hooded jumpers and sweatshirts are not a part of school uniform and should not be worn whether under or over blazers.

Years 7 to 9:

Coats should be placed in lockers on arrival at school. Coats can be worn at break and lunch in outside areas only (not including lunch queue). They should not be worn on transition to lessons.

Years 10 and 11:

Coats should be removed on arrival in the school building. Students can carry coats over their arm, but our preference is that they are placed in their bags. Carried coats should be placed on the back of chairs during lessons. Coats can be worn at break and lunch in outside areas only (not including lunch queue). They should not be worn on transition to lessons.

Also black shoes (not trainers or canvas type shoes)  should be worn.
