Senior Prefect Team

It is with great pleasure that we are able to announce the new Senior Prefect Team for the academic year 2019–2020.  Congratulations to:

Matthew Stevens – School Captain

Charlotte Beardon – Head Girl

Ed Mann – Head Boy

Greg Elgunov – Vice Captain

Kieran McCarthy – Vice Captain

Isaak Nathan – Vice Captain

Tallulah Palmer – Vice Captain

The school and the PTA have jointly funded the purchase of more lockers which can be used by Year 10 & 11. They operate on a ‘hot-locker system’ which means students should only use them on days they need them. They can also be shared between boys by mutual consent.

Year 10 lockers are located in the canteen and are numbered 348 – 407

Year 11 lockers are located in canteen quad under the new canopy and are numbered 408 – 463.

Coats and Uniform

Now that all students have access to a large locker and we move towards Spring, we will be informing all students that their coats must be stored in a locker during the school day. They should be placed there before form time in the morning and not carried around school. They may only wear their coat at lunch-break and it must be returned to their locker before afternoon registration. Coats carried around school will be confiscated.

Please can parents take the opportunity to replace any missing or worn out items of uniform and equipment over the half-term holiday so that all students are able to return to school correctly attired and appropriately equipped with everything they need for lessons.

Please note that both hoodies and training shoes are not permitted in school.

We are aiming to make the school litter free by the Easter Holiday. The ECCO Committee which has been meeting regularly will be introducing a number of

recycling initiatives in the coming weeks as we look to reduce our carbon footprint. As a school we are purchasing more rubbish bins for students to deposit their waste.
