Robert Cuming BSC, UKCP, mBACP is an accredited psychotherapist with 10 years of experience working in private practice with individuals providing both psychotherapy and counselling.

Robert joined The Counselling Foundation (www.counsellingfoundation.org) as Chief Executive Officer in 2011. The organisation has a common goal to reduce the stigma of mental health, through talking therapies and education and all counsellors and staff involved work hard to broaden the scope of counselling in the local communities. He is keen to promote an entrepreneurial culture, where the team explores new ways to develop services that respond to improving mental health. The Counselling Foundation has grown in size over the past few years and has a reputation for strong clinical governance and ability to deliver and has become a major contractor for counselling services to the NHS in Hertfordshire and Bedfordshire.

Previous to working at the Foundation he initially started his career in banking at Barclays Bank PLC, and then went on to the Princes Trust.

In his private practice in Hertfordshire his clients are drawn from local business professionals and leaders looking for therapy and counselling to help with personal growth and insight through psychotherapy.
