Verulam Sixth Form Application Process 2018

Verulam Sixth Form Open Evening – 9th January 2018,   7.00pm – 9.00pm

The evening offers parents and students the opportunity meet the Headmaster, Mr Ramsey, the Head of Sixth Form, Mr Skipper and other key members of the Verulam Sixth Form team.

After a brief introduction, students and parents can attend presentations by subject staff and speak with current students to find out more about the courses they are considering for sixth form.

Guidance will also be available on subject combinations and choosing subjects for specific careers or degree courses.

Current Year 11 Verulam students and external students are all welcome to attend.

Open Morning – Wednesday 17th January 2018,  9.15am

This is an opportunity for external students and parents visit the school during lesson time.  You will be given a tour of the school by members of our senior prefect team followed by an informal question and answer session with the Headmaster, Mr Ramsey, Deputy Headmaster Mr Freakley and Head of Sixth Form Mr Skipper.

GCSE success at Verulam!

Verulam School St albans Hertfordshire gcse results 2017Verulam School Year 11 students once again enjoyed an excellent set of GCSE results. Nine boys in particular had reason to celebrate by achieving the top grade 9 in Maths. Nathan Gorgulu, Simon Grundy, Joe Hensman, Haneef Khan, James Lofts, Adam Pringle, Alex Towle, Stuart Wallace and Freddie Wilkinson all hit the highest mark in the newly reformed examinations. Paul Ramsey, Headmaster said, “I am delighted that the boys have responded so well to the new exams which are far more challenging due to the increased content and assessment through final examination only.”

Improved A-Level Results at Verulam
