About the Verulam Charitable Trust

Verulam Charitable Trust (VCT) is the School’s own charity set up to receive donations in a tax efficient way, helping to make your gift go further. All the monies received will be used to add value to your son’s education, giving him opportunities to grow and flourish in ways that Verulam School would not otherwise be able to afford.

(VCT can receive one-off donations as well as regular standing orders or direct debit).

If you are a UK taxpayer, you also need to fill out the Gift Aid form available from the school or via the website.

The Government’s Gift Aid scheme allows us to reclaim tax on donations. That means that for every £1 you give to VCT, we can reclaim 25p from the Inland Revenue. All you have to do is fill in a Gift Aid declaration. This means that you confirm that you are a UK tax payer and that you are happy for us to reclaim the tax you have already paid.

The extra money we get through gift aid may not seem very much, but if everyone gives this way it all adds up and enables VCT to help even more young people fulfil their potential.

Imagine the difference that could make.
